Having your CV written by a professional can often be the difference between you being invited to interview (or not), securing the next step up in your career, or even commanding a much higher salary than you perhaps thought possible. The CV will be the first ever impression that a hiring manager or recruitment team will have of you. You will not be in a position to elaborate on or explain your achievements at this stage. The CV will have to do all of the work. Typically, hiring managers do not take much longer than 30 to 60 seconds to review each CV. Therefore, it is vital for your CV to be well written, concise and decipherable, not only as an extension of you as a person but to ensure full impact on the reader, and alignment with the advertised role.
I try to adapt my style to suit the needs of each individual - some prefer communication via telephone to consult on everything required for the writing process, and some people prefer email. However, loosely speaking, once you make contact with me I will respond to discuss your full requirements, current circumstances and, if applicable, to identify if there is any particular role for which you wish to apply. I then assess your existing CV (if you have one) and and supply you with a quote. If you decide to proceed, I would then produce the first draft of the CV and any additional documents. Once you receive the first draft, we would then work together as part of the re-drafting process to reach the finished product.
If you purchase a LinkedIn profile as part of a CV package, the profile optimisation is delivered once the CV has been signed-off.
My maximum turnaround time is five working days. This period starts from date on which we agree to work together, and when payment and all relevant information has been received. The turnaround time is subject to any exceptional circumstances which may cause a delay, for example if before you receive the first draft you change the scope of the project, or you supply me with a significant amount of additional information to be factored into the document(s).
